I hope this finds you well……and if not….maybe the information below, will give you a reason to check in with us! Just wanted to catch you up on all the changes at Y2K Health and Detox Centre. As most of you know, but many may not…we have moved from my house.....to Main St. E. Yes, I was there before…in 1996…but now I am downstairs from that old office at street level. It’s a great location for us…lots of parking in the back and centrally located for your convenience. We have several new additions to our “Cast of Characters”…so let me tell what we are all up to. Dr. Deb “Dr. Deb” is a moniker bestowed upon me by a 5 year old patient. And its stuck! Even on the lists on the internet where I offer free suggestions to people who are chronically ill…its my “hook”. This is my 25th year of practice…and I am still doing electrodermal testing, but with a new unit…checking for the energetic balancing within the body and even food, allergy, hormone testing, etc. I have also set aside a room to return to Chiropractic treatments. As many of you know, a large part of my clinic time is spent working with mercury toxicity victims and that includes autistic children. The major causes?…dental amalgam (silver) fillings and with the children..its usually from thimerasol..a preservative in vaccinations which is 48% mercury. Marnie and Owen Wagg Marnie (Dr. of Homeopathy) and Owen joined us last November. Marnie brings with her years of counseling both from an emotional and spiritual level and over 10 years of homeopathic experience. A talented homeopath and “angel of mercy to many.” Owen is also a homeopath, but his main thrust is Iridology..a therapy which can define the state of your health by patterning in the iris of your eye. Its incredibly accurate and has helped many of my patients “fine tune” their health. Edna Kiernan “Eddie” as we know her..is our Aromatherapist extraordinaire! She also practices Reiki and Reflexology. Her exceptional hands and oils are able to assist in any health situation..to facilitate a return to wellness. Jim Baker My “Dear Ol’ Dad” joined us last fall. He has been practicing Reflexology for 15 years. He has a wonderful touch, also is a practitioner of Therapeutic Touch and specializes in “Therapy for Seniors by Seniors”. Don Racine “Sensei Don” aka my husband of just over a year..(we married April 20, 2002) is also a practitioner of Therapeutic Touch. This is a modality in which there is an exchange of energy between practitioner and patient..allowing for removal of the patient’s energy blocks. Don uses his hands to guide the energy flow into a continuous healing direction enabling the patient’s own immune system to rebalance. Don’s over 50 years in Martial Arts and meditation has augmented his ability to practice TT. Taylor Racine Taylor (our daughter) is doing our Facials and Non Surgical Face Lift treatments. She uses her skilled and strong hands to massage the head, face and neck, while doing the facials. We use only Holistic Skin Care products..a truly natural, homeopathic line. She also uses our new Rennaisance electromyopulse unit to gentlly “coax” out lines and wrinkles. Each treatment builds on the last until people only need come every month or two. Y2K Health Store We have a large front area of the office which we have turned into “Neat Stuph”..things to pamper yourself. Beside the usual large selection of professional supplements and homeopathics, we have added Holistic Skin Care products and Fruits et Passion. Both lines are natural and fruit and vegetable based.
